Features Description Alchemilla vulgaris is a herbaceous, perennial plant growing from 10 to 50cm, with broad, palmate, yellow-green leaves and small, yellow-green flowers in inflorescences. The flowering lasts from May to October and the harvesting takes place from July to August.
Method Administration It is administered in the form of herbal tea (30g of dried herb in a 1lt of boiled water) and infusion (20g of dried herb in a 1lt of boiling water), for the treatment of gynecological disorders. It is applied externally as healing, astringent and anti-inflammatory in the form of herbal tea (50g of dried herb in a 1lt of boiled water)Warning: The use of herb preparations is not recommended without seeking advice from your physician or pharmacist. The substances they contain may interact with the subscribed drugs that the patient already takes, thus eliminating their therapeutic efficacy or inducing toxicity. They may also burden further weakened vital functions of the body thus exposing the patient to increased morbidity and life threatened conditions.
Pharmacological Info The plant's herbal tea is recommended against various gynecological disorders, such as excessive blood loss during menstruation, irregular menstrual cycle, pruritus (itching), heavy vaginal secretions related with contamination and hormonal imbalance during menopause.
