| Features Description | Ballota acetabulosa is a perennial, herbaceous plant growing from 20 to 60cm, with heart-shaped, pubescent leaves and red or purple, pubescent flowers. The flowering and the harvesting take place from June to August. |
| Method Administration | The plant is administered as diuretic, antidiabetic and depressant in the form of infusion (15g of dried herb in 500mL of boiling water, 2-3 times a day) and juice. In homeopathy it is administered against cough and insomnia in the form of tincture (25-40 drops, 3 times a day).
