| Features Description | Bidens tripartita is an annual herb growing up to 60cm, with lanceolate, serrated, green leaves and small, yellow, hermaphrodite flowers. The flowering and the harvesting take place from July to September. |

Due to its astringent action the plant is administered against bleeding, metrorrhagia, haematuria and ulcers, while it is applied externally against alopecia. Finally, the odor which emerges during flowers' burning has a strong insect repellent action. |
