| Features Description | Lythrum salicaria is a perennial plant, growing from 70 to 120cm, with lanceolate, pubescent leaves and pink, red or white flowers in inflorescence. The flowering and the harvesting take place from July to August. |
| Method Administration | It is administered as antidiarrheal in the form of herbal tea (a quantity of dried flowers in a cup of boiled water, 2-3 times a day), in the form of herbal extract (5mL a day) as well as syrup (5 spoons a day).
