Features Description Euonymus europaeus is a deciduous, small tree growing from 2 to 4m, with lanceolate, toothed leaves, small, green flowers and red fruits. The flowering lasts from May to June and the harvesting takes place from September to November
Method Administration The plant is administered against dyspepsia in the form of herbal extract (immersing 5 to 15 grains in boiled water for 1-2 hours, 2-3 times a day) and tincture (2: 1 parts of dried plant and ethyl alcohol 76%, 5 -10 drops daily), which is applied externally to the skin.Warning: The use of herb preparations is not recommended without seeking advice from your physician or pharmacist. The substances they contain may interact with the subscribed drugs that the patient already takes, thus eliminating their therapeutic efficacy or inducing toxicity. Pharmacological Info The whole plant has insecticidal, fungicidal, cholagogue, laxative, diuretic, emetic, expectorant and tonic properties. It is recommended for the treatment of dyspepsia, liver failure, constipation, dropsy and various lung diseases. It is applied externally to the skin against mites, head and pubic lice and other skin parasites
