Features Description Eupatorium cannabinum is a herbaceous, perennial plant growing from 0,6 to 1,5m, with large, opposite, polymorphous, lanceolate, serrated leaves and many convex, pink or white flowers. The flowering and the harvesting take place from June to October.
Method Administration The plant is administered in the form of herbal tea (1-2 spoons of dried herb in a cup of boiled water for 5-10min, 3 times a day) and infusion (a spoon of dried herb in a cup of boiling water for 5-10min, three times a day)Warning: The use of herb preparations is not recommended without seeking advice from your physician or pharmacist. The substances they contain may interact with the subscribed drugs that the patient already takes, thus eliminating their therapeutic efficacy or inducing toxicity. They may also burden further weakened vital functions of the body thus exposing the patient to increased morbidity and life threatened conditions.
Pharmacological Info The whole plant has cholagogue, antirheumatic, diuretic, emollient, laxative, antipyretic, tonic, expectorant and sudorific properties. It is recommended in the form of herbal tea for the treatment of fever, scurvy, common cold, hay fever, liver, spleen and gall bladder disorders. Also, the herbal extract is used to relieve rheumatic and muscle pain, as well against constipation.
